В начале января Меган Маркл (38) и принц Гарри (35) объявили о том, что складывают с себя королевские полномочия и теперь будут жить на две страны: Канада и Великобритания.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. После этого супруги переехали в Канаду с девятимесячным сыном Арчи, и, судя по всему, там они и планируют остаться: как рассказали инсайдеры порталу The Sun, Меган и Гарри уволили весь своей персонал в Лондоне (а их было 15 человек), в том числе личного секретаря пары Фиону Макилвэм и главу по связям с общественностью Сару Латэм! Правда, расстались они спокойно: по словам источников, «команда очень предана Сассексам, понимает и уважает принятое ими решение».

В Букингемском дворце, кстати, уже отреагировали на слухи и заявили, что не комментируют кадровые вопросы.
